To provide our customers with the freshest produce and help us reduce our carbon footprint, we aim to source our ingredients locally or at least from within the county of Sussex. However, where this is not possible, we source them from neighbouring counties.

Robert Edwards Butcher is a family business, passed from father to son, and established over 60 years. They supply us with high quality beef, pork, South Downs lamb and free range chicken sourced from farms around the Sussex / Surrey borders.

FISHThe Fresh Fish Shop in Haywards Heath was established over 30 years ago providing the local community with quality, fresh fish daily. Some two years ago, Sebastian Candelon took over the business and completely refurbished it. He has dramatically increased the fish selection and improved quality. Network Seafoods Ltd run by Peter Ellis, an ex-trawler captain, has traded out of Newhaven for 25 years. His company comes with the highest stamp of approval from the Food Standards Agency. The Pure Oyster Company provide us with an array of fish from the South Coast. The company was founded by Jane Tabor in 1907 and is still run by the Tabor family based at Pease Pottage, West Sussex.

FRESH VEGETABLES & SALADS
We use two suppliers for our fresh vegetables and salads – regular supplies are delivered daily from the Personal Catering Company. With some of our more exotic fruit and veg sourced by Mark James, who is based in Tilgate, from the famous Covent Garden Market.
BREADS
Fellows of Ardingly supply all of our breads. The company is by run by David Bunn (Master Baker) and his family, who have been baking high class breads since 1880. Fellows Bakery,
